Leading a business can be a lonely place.
As an owner, Managing Director or senior leader, you are expected to make the decisions, solve the problems and provide the direction. But who challenges your thinking?
One-to-one executive business coaching gives you dedicated time to step away from the day-to-day, think clearly and focus on what will make the biggest difference to you and your business.
An experienced sounding board
I’ve spent more than 20 years in commercial and board-level roles, including as part of the board of an international business that grew beyond £200m revenue. I have coached hundreds of business leaders
since.
As a Certified Scaling Up Coach, I work with owners and senior leaders on the real challenges of leading and growing a business.
That might include:
-
Setting strategy and deciding what to prioritise
-
Building and leading a stronger team
-
Tackling difficult people or performance issues
-
Improving accountability and execution
-
Delegating and getting out of the day-to-day
-
Improving profitability, cash flow and business performance
-
Making difficult or important business decisions
-
Developing your own leadership effectiveness
There is no standard agenda. The coaching is shaped around you, your business and what you need to achieve.

Who it’s for
One-to-one coaching suits owners, MDs and senior leaders of businesses turning over £1m to £50m+, who want a confidential, independent sounding board. It works well if you are:
• Growing and want to stay in control of the pace.
• Carrying decisions that you can’t easily share with your team or shareholders.
• Ready to step back from the day-to-day and lead more strategically.
If you’d prefer to learn alongside other owners, take a look at the Executive Peer Group.
More than someone to ask you questions
Good coaching should challenge your thinking, not simply reinforce it.
I will listen, ask the questions others may not ask and challenge your assumptions when needed.
But I also bring practical business experience.
Where it helps, I will share tools, frameworks, ideas and experience gained from working with hundreds of other business leaders. The aim is not simply to have a good conversation. It is to help you make better decisions and take action.
What can one-to-one coaching give you?
Regular coaching gives you protected time to work on the business rather than constantly in it.
It can help you:
-
Gain clarity and perspective
-
Make better decisions
-
Stay focused on your most important priorities
-
Deal with issues you may have been avoiding
-
Become a more effective leader
-
Turn ideas and intentions into action
-
Have someone independent who will challenge you and hold you accountable
And importantly, it gives you a confidential and objective sounding board for conversations you may not be able to have with your team, colleagues or shareholders.
"Leon has been super inspiring to work with. In a short conversation, he could determine exactly where my business was at, give me a really effective strategy to grow and implement! I genuinely found him to be one of the most fabulous coaches I have ever worked with and I am wowed by his ability to strategise so efficiently. He has both helped and impressed me in equal measures. I would wholeheartedly recommend him. Thank you Leon."
